At Local Kollective, we value your satisfaction and strive to ensure every purchase meets your expectations. Please review our return and exchange policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Returns

Return Period: You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a store credit or exchange.

Condition Requirements: Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all tags attached.

Ineligible Items:

Items marked Final Sale or Non-Returnable at checkout.

Intimate apparel (e.g., sports bras, leggings, swimwear, underwear, socks) once the hygiene seal is broken.

Gift cards and downloadable digital products.

Note: Under U.S. law, retailers are not required to accept returns unless an item is defective or not as described. However, we choose to offer a flexible return policy for your convenience.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return:

Please email info@thelocalkollective and provide the reason for return.

Include your order number and email address. If item is defective please include pictures of defect/damage.

Follow the instructions to generate your prepaid return shipping label (U.S. customers only).

Securely package your item and drop it off at the carrier listed on your return label.
A $6.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your credit unless the return is due to a defective item or shipping error on our part.
3. Credits

Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a product defect or fulfillment error.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your credit is processed.
4. Exchanges
Need a different size or color? Let us know what size and/or color by emailing info@thelocalkollective.com - subject line “Exchange”.

Your replacement item will be shipped once your original return is in transit.

If your preferred item is unavailable, you will be notified and store credit will be issued.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact our Customer Care Team within 7 days of delivery at info@thelocalkollective.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
We’ll replace the item at no additional cost or issue a full refund in compliance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) consumer protection standards.
7. Legal Rights
This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the state of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under federal or state consumer protection laws, including rights relating to defective merchandise or misrepresentation.
